Guru Poornima-गुरु पूर्णिमा as per Sanatan tradition is an occassion to remember our spiritual guru, his/her teachings as applicable for contemporary world in modern civilization in our lives & introinspecting our own lifestyle, occupation, behaviour in that framework.

Guru in sanskrit means a mentor, expert who dispels darkness in every sphere of our life by simplifying complexity in a very comprehensive manner with tips which are convenient to follow and adopt.

Moon is related to mind, emotion or pshyche, mother and brighter/full moon means illuminating impact on our mind and pshyche.

Today our limitations, problems, tensions including social, professional issues as well as issues at community level like corruption, pollution, health care can all be related to darkness i.e. ignorance about probable solutions or root-cause of the problem.

Lack of honesty, clearity is actually illusioning 'fact based concepts' on which our tradition, culture was based since iternity as you only fall off, get extinct when your belief-system is based on facts which are fictious and not based on universal truth.

Āshāda Ekādashi is a day synonymous with Pānduranga Vittalā. It is the day devotees sing the names of the Lord, while walking to the temple of Pandharpur. Madrasana came together with Vinay Varanasi and Sivasri Skandaprasad to recreate this walk to the temple of Krishna, in Bangalore! On the morning of āshāda ekādashi, ( July 10th, 2022) Vinay and Sivasri were joined by Jaidev Haridos and Chandrashekhar , and they shared stories of Nāmdev, sung abhangs and compositions as they walked through the temples of Malleswaram. They were joined by several enthusiastic participants, who sang along and keenly listened to the stories of Nāmdev, a Marathi saint. This event was a precursor to a deeper exploration of Nāmdev's journey of bhakti.
