Preventing Pollution Pollutants Naturally to Prevent Environmental Degradation
Pollution is growing day by day in India, backed by development, rising living standards, urbanization and modern lifestyle. Today we are following the western approach which was traditionally criticized in India long ago ("गाय मारकर जूता दान") i.e., we first create a problematic system which fundamentally doesn't conform to law of nature and then we let it grow (the problem) bigger and bigger till it becomes a unmanageable social & political problem, then we try to find a solution, look for ways which can help us to live(survive) with problem without trying to find ways to resolve(eliminate) it completely.
For example, take any village or suburb which is yet to be developed take samples of there water now and then at different intervals of its development. Quality of water will degrade with each milestone of development till it becomes non-potable i.e. not suitable for drinking and will contain high level of harmful pollutants.
Now, the interesting fact is that the companies that sell water purifiers, know these facts in advance and sell there products accordingly. They don't raise this issue with the government or make people aware that there city is not developing its degrading because this is not a part of there business plan or strategy or may be in there business interest.
Similarly I've noticed a similar phenomena taking place in other faculties too, yet we are not aware as money is important then life, so called modernization is important for so called underdeveloped and poor society.
Pollutants can be easily controlled by following traditional Tri(त्रि) approach that is/was traditionally a part of Indian culture. May be most people today will not realize this but we have had a system, an approach to deal with almost everything using a philosophy right from the beginning, which helped us to prevent and control birth of complexities and problems then & in future.
Although traditional Indian strategies have been imitated, customized and adapted globally, the land which had innovated, developed & mastered that insight is loosing the traditional sight to a large extent.
Saving Environment : Maintaining A Database of Pollutants & Its Source
First step to prevent pollution in Indian cities & suburbs naturally is to maintain a database of all the pollutants found along with their source of origin.This will help us to classify the pollutant as well as their sources into different categories.
These pollutants can also be classified according to their percentage that can be renewed completely without any compromise in quality, i.e. quality of recycle & frequency for which it can be recycled.
Those which are biodegradable, get dissolved with nature naturally, should also be marked.
Maintaining Pollution Free Clean & Green Cities
Before we try to find and look at the probable solution to the problem faced by our cities and villages which consume products from modern plants, we must understand the basic things which are resulting in growing problem of pollution and pollutants, please note we need to keep our eyes & mind open before taking help or following existing solutions that have been adopted successfully by any government or society anywhere in the world at present or in past.Traditionally Indian Culture which is based on Hinduism i.e. Vedic Doctrine of Eternity which actually followed a neat & clean sustainable path which are long forgetten today because Modern Education System creates a confusion & illusion in conceiving the philosophy of eternal faiths in Indian Sub-continent.
